Peaking Blue blends melodic indie rock with alternative roots, shaped by years on Michigan stages and in the studio. A recording-focused project with a deep love for live performance, their sound is polished and made to be shared!
A Port Huron–born singer songwriter with a genre-bending sound shaped by rock, country, and blues, now splitting time between Michigan and Austin, Texas. With new music on the way in 2025, this is an artist worth discovering.
Jessey Adams delivers a powerful blend of traditional and outlaw country, pairing road-worn stories with small-town roots. Her award-winning songwriting and authentic sound make her a standout artist on the rise.
Charlie Arnett is a Traverse City–based singer songwriter whose performances blend heartfelt originals with feel good favorites inspired by artists like Cat Stevens, John Prine, James Taylor, and Jimmy Buffett. He performs throughout Northern Michigan, including Port Austin, bringing a warm, easygoing sound to every stage.

Huron Out is a musical duo that travels the thumb area playing songs we grew up with and brilliant originals including a mix of folk, blues, rock, and country.
Second Street Exiles is an eclectic group of local musicians blending country, rock, pop, and more to create a sound all their own. Based in the Port Austin area, each member brings their unique talent to the stage to provide a mix of musical genres for a thoroughly enjoyable listening (and dancing) experience.
Welcome, Ernie Block, to Porch Fest! Ernie is from Dewitt, Michigan, and has been captivating audiences with his mountain dulcimer since 1978. Renowned for his performances across contemporary, folk, and traditional music genres, Ernie has earned top honors at the Great Lakes Mountain Music Competition.
Terry Collins is a solo musician with more than 50 years of performing at different venues playing various genres from the 20s through the 70s.
Ryan Scott & The Creek Hounds, based in Smiths Creek, MI, blend country with a Southern rock twist. Drawing from outlaw/classic country and roots rock, their unique sound stands out. They pride themselves on taking audience requests while seamlessly mixing in original music.
Welcome, Kyle Mikolajczyk to Porch Fest! Kyle is a Detroit-born, multi-musician, songwriter, and entertainer recognized for his unique, old-school rock n roll demeanor/appearance, and delivers a well-rounded show capable of pulling off any genre.
From golden oldies to top 40 hits, The XoXo’s bring a high-energy mix of originals and crowd favorites that’ll keep you singing along all day. With California roots and a fresh Michigan-made sound, this dynamic group is ready to light up Porch Fest X!
Welcome back, Boston Edison to Porch Fest! As a band, they’ve been together since 2017 and have performed at venues in the Detroit area including Max Dugans, the blues hotspot, Moose Winooski, and the Guitar Lounge.
Welcome back, Douglas Wilson to Porch Fest! Douglas grew up in the Metro Detroit area and studied classical music and the upright bass which blossomed into his love for music. His setlist includes the 90’s classics he grew up on, along with the well-known classic rock from the ’60s-’80s and music from today with a few originals sprinkled in as well.
Singer-songwriter, Nicholas James Thomasma combines stories and songs with humor and wit for a show that can be enjoyed by all ages. Nicholas also helps put on HuCo Songs, a songwriting retreat weekend in Port Austin in September. Welcome back, Nicholas!
A sound that has been likened to Harry Chapin, John Denver, James Taylor, and other Americana with a love of the great 60s/70s era music. Tim is a songwriter with a love for solo performance.
Kenny Lang is a singer/songwriter from Port Austin. His songs brilliantly illustrate stories about life, love, happiness, and struggle.
Triple Play is a Tri-City-based rock band from Sanford. The group covers favorites from the 50s through the 00s and likes to get a crowd moving to familiar songs with strong harmonies and flashy guitar licks.
Single acoustic guitar and vocalist from Capac, Michigan. Originally from Indian River, Michigan, he’s spent the last 40 years playing and performing at campfires, coffee houses, church sanctuaries, and small gatherings of every kind. You may have seen him playing right here in Port Austin!
Frank & Jude are a husband and wife duo bringing decades of Michigan stage experience and timeless songs to life. From The Beatles to Elvis, the Monkees, and John Mellencamp, their feel-good mix of classic rock and pop truly offers something for everyone.
The Prospects are a five-piece yacht rock band from Rochester Hills bringing smooth, feel-good classics to the stage. Featuring two guitars, bass, keys, and drums, they deliver laid-back grooves and polished arrangements, with past performances including Porch Fest 2018.
Schwanitz & Roggenbuck have evolved into a larger ensemble, bringing together a talented group of musicians for a dynamic sound. While Brian Schwanitz and Kevin Roggenbuck continue to lead with their folk-rock and pop covers, the group now includes a variety of skilled players, each adding their unique touch to create an even fuller and more vibrant performance. From sing-alongs to orchestral instruments, every year brings an exciting new dimension to their shows.
Formerly known as The Silverwood Bottom Boys, this beloved group brings heartfelt gospel harmonies and decades of musical tradition to Porch Fest. With deep roots in Michigan and a legacy that lives on, we’re honored to have them back on the porch!
Welcome back, Dr Harp & Sweet Melissa! Get in the groove with this talented four-person group featuring guitars, keyboards and blues harp. Plan on seeing a rousing set of jump blues, boogie and americana with tunes spanning about 100 years of history.
Mike is from Detroit and Jenna hails from the Chicago area. They have been playing music together for over ten years and are known for their timeless cover selections, unique arrangements, and thought provoking and entertaining original music.
Welcome back the Bill Denbrock Big Band! For more than 40 years, this authentic full-band has played arrangements of music of the swing / big band era.
Circle of Friends focuses on Peter, Paul & Mary, transporting audiences back to the sixties with songs of peace, protest, struggle, and love, and has since diversified to cover more artists.
Welcome back, the Buggs to Porch Fest! Raymond and Susan Bugg are a husband and wife duet from Harbor Beach, Michigan. Raymond plays guitar and sings and Susan sings and provides an atmosphere of joy with an assortment of costumes and props.
Three siblings who have a great time singing together. Marty is from Muskegon and has over 40 years of experience playing guitar. Carole is from Grand Rapids. Peggy is from Port Austin. They have been singing practically from birth. If you enjoy singing along with the oldies from the 60’s, come join in for some easy harmonies and lots of fun memories in song.
Ban-Joes of Michigan is a group of mostly Jazz-Banjo players from around the South East Michigan area. They have been in business for more than 50 years! Welcome back to Porch Fest!
