Brian Schwanitz is a Michigan native who plays guitar and sings with The Creative Life Musicians in Houston, Texas, and occasionally does some solo work in Traverse City, Michigan, where he and his wife, Marylinn, spend their summers.
Kevin Roggenbuck comes from a musical family in Harbor Beach, MI, and has played. Porch Fest with Brian for the past five years, bringing a full, upbeat sound. Kevin loves the backyard and campfire, crowd-pleasing sing-alongs.
Erin Schwanitz Heiser lives south of Austin, Texas, and plays violin in the Austin Philharmonic and the Austin Festival Orchestras. She loves to sing with her husband, Bear, and kids, Charlotte and Nolan.
Trevor Booms is an outstanding bass player and vocalist, also from Harbor Beach, who has played in local bands and with Brian and Kevin for the past 3 Porch Fests.
Sharon Schwanitz is an accomplished music teacher and performer, specializing in saxophones and flute, living in Troy, Ohio, with her husband, Gary.
Derek McCormick is an experienced drummer from Sand Point, MI, who joined the group for the 2024 Porch Fest, bringing a steadier and more upbeat sound.
Geoffry Oshman is the new keyboardist, who plays regularly with Brian in Houston and brings another dimension to the group and songs they would not normally perform.
