Spoonful Band
–Classic blues, rock, and a few country tunes
Spoonful is from the Sterling Heights, Clarkston, Union Lake area of Michigan. They are often found supporting charities like the Wounded Warrior Project, Children with Leukemia, and other Military and Charity events. The band looks forward to this annual summer event in Port Austin. They also have played at PAK’s Backyard and the Bird Creek Farms Tap Room in Port Austin.
Spoonful band started as a blues-only group and still has a blues selection in its playlist today. Over the years we have added some Motown, rock, "Jimmie Buffet" and even popular country to our setlist. We feel we have a good balance of old and newer songs to play for you. Our main criteria for song selection is "will our audience recognize this song after 4 measures?" Using this rule we have come up with danceable, sing-able songs to entertain you.
