Reel Happy String & Swing Band
Swing (20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's), Irish dance tunes, dixieland, bluegrass, novelty tunes, & requests
Formed in 1980 in Oakland County, Michigan from the remains of a previous incarnation, the personnel have changed with the ever-rolling years. Seldom may it be anticipated the exact configuration for any given occasion. The musicians themselves are sometimes surprized by who appears and which tunes are performed. The canine member has been replaced several times due to the relatively short life span of that species; even human members have been known to Swing off to heavenly gigs that we trust are Reel Happy.
Terry Ross: mandolin, guitar, pennywhistle, bass, harmonika, vocals
