Dennis and Art have been friends for over fifty years, dating back to their teaching days in the Lakeview School District in St. Clair Shores. Art was a music teacher, and is very skilled with a variety of instruments. Dennis has been singing with his own bands for about 40 years, going back to Replay in the Detroit area and now with Art in The Spring Street Boys here in the Port Austin/Thumb area. Last year's Porch Fest was the first time they paired up as a duo, and they enjoyed it enough to do a repeat performance this year.
