Sonas will be the featured performer “Live On Stage” at the Port Austin Farmers Market on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Band members Dee Dee Tibbits, Kelly Sible and Tom Krause hail from Caro and Midland. Sonas performs a blend of music from around the world played on many traditional instruments including the hammered dulcimer, fiddle, mandolin, Irish whistle, bouzouki, concertina, guitar, and hurdy-gurdy. Audiences in the past have given “Sonas” many a standing ovation as thanks for the music, which brings such “happiness and contentment” – the meaning of the word “Sonas.”
