Jonathon Ferris grew up in the small town of Durand in the shadow of the auto industry and currently resides in Flint. His music is Americana with industrial complex grit. In his songs you find you find a man feverishly trying to stitch together the rags of the American dream in the 21st century; there is faith - but it’s world-weary; there is love - being put through the wringer. One might think Jonathon did his writing sitting in a coffee shop on the edge of town looking at farms and factories out the same window. Stories of love, faith, and the American dream struggling under pressure, delivered by a voice that knows it all too well. In 2018 he released his latest album "Signal Repeater" which has been met with much fanfare. More is in the planning for 2019, stay tuned, his gears are always turning.
