Huron Out
A mix of folk, blues, rock, and country
Joe has been an avid music lover involved in music since junior high school when he began playing in high school musicals. He later began specializing in concert promotions and organizing community music events. Pre-pandemic, he was honored to be a member of an upscale, local 11-piece band, “The A-Side Players”. Joe sings and plays a variety of instruments including guitar, ukulele, and harmonica.
Jodi has loved music her entire life, as well. She played the clarinet in middle school and Joe taught her how to play the ukulele during the pandemic. Jodi plays ukulele, sings harmony, and is working up the courage to sing lead on a few songs. She recently got an acoustic bass guitar and is beginning to learn this new and funky instrument!
Together they make great music and harmonies playing covers from Bob Seger, The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Buffett, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, The Band, John Prine, U2, John Denver, Whiskey Myers, Pearl Jam, Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson, and many more. They throw some of their own originals into the mix as well!
Jodi is from Caro and grew up near the Deford/Cass City area and Joe is from Mayville. They both have many fond childhood memories with family and friends spending time all over Huron County.
