Nicholas Viene will perform from 6 to 9 pm on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at PAK’S Backyard near downtown Port Austin.

Nick Veine started playing guitar when he was 10 and that interest quickly flourished into a lifelong obsession. Bluegrass festivals and rock concerts were a regular part of his childhood and continue to be a family tradition to this day. He studied music independently through high school and performed with his band Awesome Distraction (Kyle and Chloe have been good friends for many years now) and eventually went on to receive two degrees in music. His first was at Berklee College of Music in Boston: Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Writing & Production. The second was at Belmont University in Nashville: Master of Music in Classical Composition. He's now based in Manistee but performs all across Michigan. Nick loves to create in any capacity, and this extends to his love of composing, songwriting, arranging, and multimedia projects. His current projects include a concept album on the Labors of Hercules and an Irish Music collaboration with his good friend: Ben Traverse.
